At Springwater Natural Meats, we are passionate about providing families with natural, wholesome meat free of added hormones or antibiotics. We "GET" that you are chasing healthy food but we also "GET" that mealtime can be challenging and all of the meat cut names and different butchers call them different things, and what is for stewing and what is for frying and OH MY GOSH - It's all too hard and what if I make a mess of it etc etc etc!!!

We've all been there BUT we were fortunate in growing up in a house where we ate and continue to  meat at least 12 times a week! - we learned quickly what to do with what AND how to make it go further when unexpected guests or workers arrived!

SO WE AREN'T JUST HERE TO SELL YOU BEAUTIFUL DELICIOUS MEAT - WE WANT TO HELP YOU COOK IT SO YOU LOOOOOVE MEAL TIME AGAIN!

We aim to provide tips, tricks and ideas around using our products - am I a masterchef??? HECK NO!! I'm just a mother, who has managed to sustain boys through their teenage years to become 6'6 and as we say "eat half a beast" a week!!! So I know how to stretch a meal and I know what is quick, easy and most of all DELICIOUS!!! PLUS we are fortunate to have behind us generations of capable country women passing down their knowledge who have grown their own veges & and orchards, preserved food,  milked their own cows and made their own cream & and butter, baked champion show-winning cakes at local Ag Shows, fed family, friends & teams of shearers!

 

Masterchef creatives using weird ingredients I've usually never heard of - WE ARE NOT - BUT whipping up a mean "feed" - yep we are all over it!!! We have always had "extras" in the house be it boarding school friends or friends of friends that needed somewhere to stay. We get it.

So we hope that along this journey we can take some of the stress out of sourcing and cooking your meals, plus reconnecting families with their food and their farmers. Let's strengthen the connection and get our families healthy again.
